Charles Evans Hughes resigned from the Supreme Court to run for president in 1916. Hughes was so addicted to work that it was said he grew his magnificent mustache and beard because he didn’t like to waste time shaving. He would be proud to be pictured on this well-made and rare 1 1/4 inch celluloid which was the product of some fine craftsmanship. It has a Progress Novelty Co. back paper, excellent.
