You don’t usually see a presidential candidate dressed like a hobo, but after all Jimmy Carter did portray himself as a man of the people. At least he’s not wearing that sweater! This scarce 2 1/2 inch celluloid proclaims “Jimbo for President.” The only other time we have record of this pin in recent years was almost eight years ago, when it sold for $484. A really tough Carter item in excellent condition. UPON FURTHER REVIEW: We now have information that this logo was used by a Boston fish restaurant and thus this appears to be an advertising pin for that restaurant, not a Carter campaign pin.
